This experiential and discussion-style workshop takes a look at clinical trends in a racist society.  The Black body, as well as the Brown and Indigenous body is vulnerable in white spaces, due to white advantage. White advantage refers to the unearned benefits of being white-bodied in America and other European-dominated cultures. These advantages will be discussed and then applied to the therapeutic setting.

This workshop can be counted toward the Socially Conscious Body pre-requisite hours for CTBMD certification.
